老師也教我如何用簡單實用的句型來表達觀點,這些句型不僅好記,也能靈活套用在不同題型中。像我原本寫的是:“However, online shopping allows people to purchase what they need at anyplace and anytime you want.” 老師會幫我修改成 “However, online shopping can be done with just a few clicks.”,讓句子更簡潔、自然。再比如,在寫小作文時裡,我一開始只會寫:“In 2000, the number of table tennis participants had a slight increase from 17 to 20 in 2010, and it rose significantly to 54 for the period 2000 to 2020.” 老師則提醒我可以改變主詞,改寫成:“Table tennis started at 17 participants and rose gradually to 20 in 2010, followed by a sharp increase to 54 by 2020, making it the second most popular activity.”,這樣的句子不僅更簡潔清楚,也讓文章更有可讀性。
決定要考三戰以後,我決定開始candice的math課。工作這麼多年,再重新上數學課,總讓我有一種再考一次大學的PSTD。開始數學課後,Candice大概花了兩周的時間重新建立我的基本觀念,我才發現原來有很多觀念,自己都是一知半解,或是只知道解題,不知道背後的邏輯是什麼,也不了解怎樣做題才能更有效率。開始刷題以後,才發現原來數學提分的關鍵是在PACE,candice也在過程中點出了我最重要的問題,是我寫得過快,導致粗心的題目太多,白白失掉了不少分數。調整PACE以後,Magoosh的模考大約都能寫上164,candice也會針對我經常錯的那些題型,再給我不同的練習題 EX 幾何比大小,讓我練習到再也不害怕寫這個題目。
